LaShanda Davis

 Education is indeed the great equalizer.  It is the engine of strong economies, and it is the key to free and secure societies.  LaShanda Davis, she is a dynamic, energetic and outcomes-driven leader with repeated success in profitable service and training organizations in diverse academic and corporate environments.  She is a respected leader with a unique blend of technical and interpersonal abilities.  Solutions oriented with absolute strengths in leadership, team development, crisis management and stabilization, statistical analysis, setting metrics, and achieving outcomes are some more of her qualities in education.

She was born in Fort Worth, Texas.  However, she grew up in North Dallas in the Hamilton Park community.  LaShanda  graduated from Texas Christian University.  After graduation, she was employed by Fort Worth ISD and she knows how to build, engage, and maintain positive relationships with her students, coworkers, and community.  She  is currently a  Teacher Facilitator for Fort Worth ISD Adult Secondary Education.  A rewarding experience Teaching Adults to attain their High School Equivalency.

Her great joy of teaching and understanding the needs of students of a diverse economic background led her to open Blue Skies Learning Academy, Inc. and T.R.E.E. Foundation to promote literacy/financial, and STEAM programs for children and their families to improve their quality of life. 

LaShanda is a proud resident of the Rolling Hills community where she serves as President of Glencrest Civic League Neighborhood Association.  In this role, she is responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with local officials, community leaders, business owners and the community.  She is a member of Greater Sweethome Baptist Church in Forest Hill, TX, where she serves as Chief Financial Officer who manages and maintains the annual budget.  LaShanda is actively involved in several local committees and boards, including the City of Fort Worth Park and Recreation where she assists the City Council with issues related to Parks, Community Centers and Libraries.  Our primary goal is to improve the quality of life for all children, families and the communities.
